Brown Sutphin, 88 of Willis, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Edna Moles Sutphin; son, Ronald “Scott” Sutphin; brothers, Frell, Ross, Garvin, and Wendell Sutphin; sisters, Eva Sowers, Haver Hill, Ruby West; step sisters, Custus Cruz, Lilas Cruz and Deck Sowers.
He is Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary Ellen Sutphin; son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Karen Sutphin; grandson, Justin Sutphin; sister, Frances Thompson.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at the Harris Cemetery with Pastor Marcus Wood officiating.
