Thelma Jean Webb Via, 85 of Floyd, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Hattie Webb.
Thelma was an active member of Floyd Baptist Church. She loved sewing and quilting. She served the community with her business of K & T Electric Supply for over 25 years. She held offices in several community programs.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, George C. Via; daughter, Kimberly Via; son & daughter-in-law, Todd & Vicky Via; five grandchildren, Brittney Sulloway, Chelsey Newman (James), Brenna Rakes (Mike), Callie Keesee (Chad), and Zachery Burchette (Bailey); and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Semones officiating. Interment will follow in the Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Good Samaritan Hospice for the care she received.
