Arnold Abner DeHart, 95, of Bent Mountain, passed peacefully at home on June 23, 2026.
He was born in Willis, VA on July 23, 1930 to Samuel and Rosa DeHart.
He is predeceased by his wife of 75 years, Glenda Cox DeHart, and two daughters, Janet D. Thompson and Carolyn A. DeHart.
He is survived by sons, Arnold W. DeHart and Jeffrey N. DeHart; daughter and sons-in-law, Rebecca D. Bier (Richard) and Jim Dickerson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Arnold was well known and respected for his master carpentry skills and love of fishing, and later golf.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 26, 2026 in the Greasy Creek Cemetery with Pastor Greg Fleshman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Union
Church of the Brethren.
