Colene Quesenberry Gallimore

 

Colene Quesenberry Gallimore, 86 of Indian Valley, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Arbie Clarence Gallimore; son, Maynard Clarence Gallimore; son-in-law, Todd Nathanial Huff; and brothers, Baynard Taft Quesenberry and Lonnie Carl Quesenberry.

Colene married the love of her life, Arbie, at 16 years old and spent 59 happy years together. She was an avid gardener, growing and canning food for many years. She loved to mow and weed-eat, spending an abundance of time outdoors. She enjoyed caring for others, assisting in caring for her younger siblings, raising her children and then babysitting grandchildren in later years. She loved to clean and took pride in keeping an immaculate home. 

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Belcher, Rhonda Sowers (David), Annette Asbury, and Sharon Huff; grandchildren, Jason Belcher, Travis Belcher (Amanda), David Belcher (Rachel), Dustin Gallimore (Maggie), Tonya Yoder (Leroy), Brian Sowers, Brandon Asbury (Brandi), Shayne Asbury (Amanda), Joshua Huff, and Natalie Huff; great-grandchildren, Brittany Belcher, Kaylee Belcher, McKinsey Belcher, Peyton Hill, Addison Belcher, Joel Diggs, Noah Belcher, Blake Yoder, Wyatt Yoder, Landon Yoder, Carter Yoder, Lottie Yoder, Colby Asbury, Bentley Asbury, Logan Asbury, Cameron Asbury, Conner Asbury, and baby girl Asbury; siblings, Maxine Carroll (James), Ludlow Quesenberry (Blanche), Modene Quesenberry, Anita Collins, and Reidell Quesenberry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rocky Huff officiating. Interment will follow in Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
