Claris
Whorley Webb, 78 of Roanoke, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021. She is
preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Shirley Webb; sons, Anthony Whorley
and Alonzo Webb; parents, Gratton & Virginia Paige Whorley; and one sister
and eight brothers.
She is survived by her children, Claris Whorley, Alvin (Diana) Whorley, Lenora (Owen) Paige, Alphonzo (Sheila) Webb, Theresa (Gary) Levesy, and Susan (Antwyne) Calloway; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; brother, Allen (Hazel) Whorley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wallis Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
