Donald Blaine Quesenberry,
age 84 of Riner, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his
loving family on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
He was born on April 6, 1934 in Pulaski, Virginia. He faithfully served in the Army and
retired after many years of service at the Lynchburg Foundry. He was a loving and devoted husband, father,
grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Preceded in death by his
parents, Ernest and Frances Bartlett Quesenberry; one son, Troy; and three
brothers, Ernest, Sherman, and Darrell.
Survived by his loving wife
of 63 years, Shirley; three daughters, Vida Quesenberry, Vicky Via and husband,
Todd, and Ellen Akers and husband, Jackie; one daughter-in-law, Josie
Quesenberry; four grandchildren, Christy, Tracy, Brenna, and Callie; six
great-grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Kane, Brooke, Hollie, and Riley; three
brothers, Mike, Terry, and David; three sisters, Ann, Helen, and Peggy; and
several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial visitation will be
held on Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the
Maberry Funeral Home Chapel. Online
