Mildred “Bobo” Angle Thomson, 94 of Floyd, passed
away Saturday, October 28, 2017. She is preceded
in death by her husband, George M. Thomson; daughter, Georgia Melinda “Linda”
Ingram; sister and brothers, Frances Knowles, Lewis Angle and Sam Angle. She is survived
by her grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Richard and Kimberly Ingram, Wes
and Bonita Ingram, James and Jeaneen Ingram, Joseph Ingram;
great-grandchildren, Brian & Ashley Ingram, Amber Ingram, Brittany Ingram,
Danielle Ingram, Jolie Ingram, Jordan Ingram, Jonah Ingram; brother, John
Angle; special friend, Donna Denham.
She was a graduate of Check High School and worked
at Check High School as a secretary. She enjoyed her job as a school board
payroll clerk for 29 years. Mildred finished her employment working with her
nephews at Christiansburg Cash Register. In retirement she enjoyed playing
Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday,
October 31, 2017 at Maberry Funeral Home with Rev. Darren Landon officiating
with interment to follow in the Restvale Cemetery. Family will receive friends
from 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2017 at the funeral home.
