Hazel Hubbard Yeatts, 84, of Floyd, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 7, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Belle Bolt; the father of her children, Willie “Bud” Hubbard; and second husband, Nelson Yeatts; sister, Vivian Bolt; daughter, Barbara Kidd; and four great grandchildren.
Hazel enjoyed gardening, canning and quilting. She loved her family and her many friends.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Lois Hubbard of Floyd; Debbie Huff of Christiansburg; son, David “Doc” Hubbard of Riner; son-in-law, Kelly Kidd of Floyd; sister, Vera Parsons of Mt. Airy, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Junior and Marie Bolt of Pilot Mt., NC; brother-in-law, Nelson Bolt of Willis, VA; five special grandchildren and six special great grandchildren, many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at The Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Turpin and Pastor Michael Bond officiating. The interment will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2015 at Maberry Funeral Home.
