Ronald Anthony DeBonee, 66, of Parkton , N.C. , passed away April 17,
2015. He was preceded in death by his
parent, Anthony S. and Yvette Gaudette DeBonee.
He will forever be remembered as a loving dad and “Gypaw”.
He was an Air Force Retiree, serving in
Vietnam, receiving the Purple Heart, Medal of Honor and Combat Action Ribbon. He also was a member of the Air Force Sgt.
Association and Purple Heart Organization.
He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was an American war hero!
He is survived by his daughters, Rikkie
Hollins and fiance’, Ezekial James
Plesha Bartel, Joyanna Chao;
granddaughters, Karlee Sirry and fiance’, Brandon Hollins, Grace Sirry,
Sidnee Sirry, Christa Chao; Great Grandson, Dakota Hollins; brother, Dennis
DeBonee; sister, Denise Kamm Martin.
There will be a Wake from 6 p.m. to 8
p.m, Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Maberry Funeral Home in Floyd. He will be laid to rest in the Arlington National
Cemetery at a later date.
