Floyd Francis Bain, Jr., 75 of Check, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 8, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Francis Bain, Sr. & Merlie Phillips Bain; and brothers, Calvin Bain, David Bain, and Joe Bain.
He is survived by his wife, Josie Bain; sons & daughters-in-law, David Lee Guynn, Floyd Lane Bain, Charles Edward & Erica Bain, and Bobby Wayne & Sarah Bain; daughter, Maria Hancher; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren plus one on the way; brother, Dale Bain; sisters & brothers-in-law, Deborah & Jimmy Bowyer and Cathy & Charlie Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral
services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in the Maberry
Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Tim Whitten officiating. Interment will follow
in the Ambrose Cox Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until
Noon prior to the service at the funeral home.
