Lewis W. Turner, 85 of Floyd, went Home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.
Lewis loved his family and bluegrass music, was a long-time member of Fairview Church of the Brethren, and retired from both Corning and Radford University.
His sweetheart wife, Janet, preceded him in death last summer. They are together again in Heaven.
Lewis is survived by his daughters, Leona Turner and Diane Keith; granddaughter, Callie Keith; sister, Christine McGuire; brother, Curtis Turner; and several nieces and nephews, all of whom reside in Floyd.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021
in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Pleasant
Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until 2 p.m. prior
to the service at the funeral home.
