James Paul Brean, 84 of Riner, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016. Jimmy was a hard-working man who always liked to keep busy. He loved his wife of 59 years, his six children and six grandchildren. His family was the most import thing to him. Jimmy enjoyed his life and he loved to take road trips with his wife. He enjoyed being outside caring for his garden and yard, as it was one of his favorite past- time activities. Jimmy will always be our role model and his strength is inspirational. We will miss him terribly, but we will always love him and know he is looking down on us.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret
Edith Brean; sons, Richard Paul Brean, Robert James Brean; daughters &
sons-in-law,Patricia Ann Faraci and Joseph Frank Faraci, Jr., Donna Marie
Denton and Matt Denton, Sharon Louise Brean, Amy Jean Gawlak and Michael
Gawlak; grandchildren, Kevan Armstrong, Kristen Faraci, Nicole Brean, Carli
Faraci, Noah Brean, Kyle Brean, Rachel Gawlak; great grandchild, Joey
Rondinone.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30
p.m., Friday, August 26, 2016 at Southwest Virginia Veteran Cemetery with Rev. David Ssentamu officiating. Military Rites by Floyd V.F.W. Post #7854 & American Legion Post #127. Visitation will be 11:00 to Noon at Maberry
Funeral Home Chapel prior to the graveside service.
