James R. Phillips, 82 of Woodlawn,
passed away Monday, January 18, 2016. He
was preceded in death by his parents, Berlie & Verlie Phillips and his
brother, Sheldon L. Phillips.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn
Viars Phillips; sons & daughter-in-law, Theron D. & Dana Phillips,
James “Ronald” Phillips; daughter, Shelia K. Patrick; grandchildren, Ethen Kyle
Phillips, Ian Shane Phillips & wife, Brooke; sister, Goldie Phillips Boyd;
numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 3:00
p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Indian Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church
Cemetery. Family will receive friends
Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Maberry Funeral Home prior to the Graveside service.
