Helen Spence Trump, 89, of
Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015. She was born to the late Ed and Vanada Hylton
Spence of Willis. She was also preceded
in death by her husband, John W. Trump, Jr.
She was a loving mother and also a
precious “Granny” to her grandson, DJ.
She enjoyed attending church and the fellowship she shared with her
church family. “Faith means being sure
of the things we hope for and know that something is real even if we do not see
it” Hebrews 11:1.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Linda & Gary Chandler of Christiansburg; grandson, Douglas J.
Carter (DJ) of San Diego, CA; brother, Harold Spence of Willis; sister’s and
brother-in-law, Kathleen Spence of Willis, Patty & James Bolt of Check,
Ruth Higgs of Willis: numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m.,
Monday, July 20, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Mike Johnston
officiating. Family will receive friends
5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Maberry Funeral Home.
