Joyce Sutphin Price, 60 of Floyd, passed on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Nulan Elwood Sutphin.
She is survived by her mother, Katie Akers Sutphin; children, Kayla Harris (Jason), Benjamin Price, Abigail Poff (Austin); grandchildren, Isaac Harris (Faith), Emma Harris (Keith Duncan), Cayley Price, Ava Poff, Harper Poff; great-grandchildren, Hazel Harris, Maggie Harris; sister, Debbie Greear; niece, Heather Greear; great niece, Aria Saligan; great nephew, Gabe Saligan; and special friend, Lori Mitcham.
Joyce was a member of the Fairlawn Church of God. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday,
December 29, 2025 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Marcus Harrison
officiating. Interment will follow in the Sutphin Cemetery. The family will
receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral
home.
