Donald Edward Weeks, Sr., 62 of Rensselaer, IN, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Akers Weeks; maternal grandparents, Ray & Etha Akers; paternal grandparents, Jewell & Gazelle Weeks; nephew, Forrest Weeks; and furry friend, Capone.
He is survived by his father, Clyde Weeks; daughters, Lisa Marquez, Kathy Weeks; son, Donald Edward Weeks, Jr.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Weeks; sister, Linda Weeks; aunts, Donna Russell, Phyllis Butterworth, Katherine Weeks; uncle, Carl Weeks; nieces, Jackie Weeks, Jazmin Weeks, Marie Herrick, Laura Weiss, Autumn O’Brien, and Ashley Kepinski; and faithful companion, Tiny.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday,
November 22, 2025 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Turpin
officiating. Interment will follow in Lester Cemetery. The family will receive
friends from Noon until 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
