Margaret Ann Smith, 88 of Floyd, passed
away on Thursday, April 25, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents,
Floyd & Annie Smith; and brother & sister-in-law, Pat & Nancy
Smith.
She is survived by her nephews &
their wives, Scott & Susan Smith, and David & Wanda Smith.
Margaret was a retired teacher from
Martinsville City Schools. She was a member of the Floyd Historical Society,
Daughters of the Revolution, and the First Presbyterian Church of Martinsville.
Funeral Services will be held at Noon on
Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George
Agnew officiating. Interment will follow in the Jacksonville Cemetery. The family
will receive friends from 11:00 - Noon prior to the service at the funeral
home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Floyd County Historical
Society, PO Box 292, Floyd VA 24091.
