Lula K. Semones, 85, of Floyd,
transitioned to Heaven on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents,
Dura and Lizena Sutphin Keith; 3 brothers, Clarence, Claude and Fred Keith; 3
sisters, Peggy Hurt, Freeda Trail and Hazel Keith.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney
Hassel Semones; sons, James Edward Weeks, Roger Weeks(Diana); daughter, Teresa
Keith (Kelvin); step-daughter, Brenda Troutt(Dewayne); grandchildren, Michelle
Bourne, Jamie Weeks, Shawn Weeks, Stern Keith; brother, Frank Keith (Peggy);
sisters, Lydia Burgess, Clara Graham; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00
p.m., Friday, August 5, 2016 at Maberry Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Troutt
and Pastor Roy Turpin officiating with interment in Pleasant Hill
Cemetery. Family will receive friends
from Noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Special thanks to the Nurses and Staff
at Skyline Nursing & Rehab Center.
Also a special thanks to my precious sister-in-law, Diana Weeks who did
the things I could not do.
