Warren “Bud” Eldridge Cox, 80, of
Willis, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2015. He was born on August 18, 1934 to the late
Warren and Guida Cox. He was preceded in
death by one granddaughter, Misty Jo Cox.
Bud was a carpenter by trade and he
loved his family and many friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58
years, Mavis and children, Warren “Bo” (Ann), Lloyd (Becky), Christine (John)
Benson, Eldon (Leslie); 5 grandchildren, Angie (Matt), Travis (Leslie), Jessica
(Devon), Amanda (Joel), Michael (Amie); 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Elza
(Helen), Harold (Rosemary) ; Sister, Mary (Eldridge). Numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00
a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Maberry Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny
Phillips and Pastor Roy Turpin officiating.
Interment will follow in the Ambrose Cox Cemetery. Family will receive
friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday April 27, 2015 at Maberry Funeral
Home.
