McAlexander Hawley, 64 of Pilot, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017. She is preceded in death by her son, Calvin
“Cully” Lee Hawley, Jr.; brothers- in-laws, Wayne Hawley and James Bower;
mother-in-law & father-in-law, Merle & Ralph Hawley.
Helen was a devoted wife, mother and the “best” grandma. She served alongside her husband as the church mother always giving of herself. She enjoyed cooking and working in her flowers. No words can express what she meant to those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Calvin Lee Hawley; son, John Hawley & wife Heather; parents, Archie & Lena McAlexander; brothers & sisters-in-law, Lane & Pam McAlexander, Billy & Lisha McAlexander, Steve & Wanda McAlexander; sisters & brothers-in-law, Mary & Terry Epperly, Dee & Eddie Shumate; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Nancy Hawley, Gerald & Hazel Link, Melba Bower, Polly & Milo Simmons; grandchildren, Trinity, Serenity, John, Harmony and Zachary Hawley; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Abundant Life Fellowship in Pilot with Pastor Calvin Hawley and Pastor Ray McDaniel officiating with interment in the Saint Matthew Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2017 at the church. Arrangements by Maberry Funeral Home.
