Pierce D. Lovell



Pierce DeWayne Lovell, 66, of Floyd, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016.  He was born to Waller and Ruby Lovell June 9, 1950.  He was a timber cutter by trade and proudly served his community.  He was a founding member of Floyd County Rescue Squad and also a member of Station 1 Fire for 35 years.  Pierce also worked for Maberry Funeral Home running ambulance calls.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Linda U. Lovell; step-children, Bobby Pack, Susan Pack; step-grandchildren, Cole Pack, Kindra Pack; daughter-in-law, Lycreaha Radford.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Topeco Cemetery with Pastor Roy Turpin officiating.
