Joann Mitchell Estes, 79, of Riner,
passed away Friday, March 11, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents,
Harold and Larmie Mitchell; husband, James Butler Estes, Jr.; brother, Bill
Mitchell; sister, Linda Nolen; great-grandson, Chase Conner.
She is survived by sons and
daughters-in-law, Garry and Sherry Estes; of Floyd, Randall and Sandy Estes; of
Riner; daughters and son-in-law, Patty Noland and fiance’ Michael Parrish; of
Oklahoma, Jean and Clinton Marshall; of Floyd. Six grandchildren; 12 great
grandchildren; sister, Joyce Manson, of Floyd; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Harrison,
Mary Ann Estes, Sadie Estes; brothers-in-law, L.T. Nolen, Fred Estes.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m.
Monday March 14, 2016 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Turpin
officiating. The interment will follow at the Thomas Family Cemetery. The
family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday March 13, 2016 at Maberry
Funeral Home.
