Gilbert Lee Shelton, 57, of Floyd,
passed away, Sunday, January 10, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Lee Shelton. He was a member
of the Floyd Moose Lodge 2300.
He is survived by his mother, Jane
Sowers Shelton; sister, Peggy Shelton(Harvie Parks, Jr.); brothers, Ronnie D.
Shelton, James Roy Shelton; daughter, Kayla Shelton; granddaughter, Braylee
Mattingley; stepson, Bradley Hatcher; and also his friends at the Floyd Moose Lodge.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00
p.m., Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Alderman Cemetery with Ronnie Sutphin
officiating. Family will receive friends
at Maberry Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made
to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA
24018.
There will be a Memorial Service at the
Floyd Moose Lodge 2300, 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2016. Everyone is
invited.
