Thelma Turpin Eisenlohr



Thelma Turpin Eisenlohr, 82, of Willis, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Turpin and Frank Eisenlohr, parents Eddie and Rheba Alley, son Kevin Turpin, grandchildren, Stephanie and Trey Weeks.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, quilting, and cooking for family and friends that came to visit.  She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their time together.  She was a Godly woman who enjoyed attending church where she spent many years teaching Sunday school and Vacation Bible School, sharing her love for the Lord with others.
Her surviving family includes daughters and son-in-law, Mary Ann Webb, Willis, Glenna and Darrell Vest, Floyd; 4 Grandchildren, Eric Webb, Blacksburg, Justin & Iris Vest, Floyd, Lance Vest, Floyd, Dexter & Rhonda Albert, Radford; 6 Great-Grandchildren, Addison Vest, Garrett Vest, Michael Webb, Evan Webb, Logan Webb and Amarynn Weeks; Aunt, Glola Patton and husband Robert; Special Caretaker, Lona Sowers and husband Mike; several cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Maberry Funeral Home, with Rev. Stanley Hawkins and Pastor Brian Turpin officiating with interment in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.  Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015. 
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Rd. Suite 106, Roanoke, VA. 24018.
