Harry Eugene (Gene) Keith, 80, of Floyd,
passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015.
He was born to the late Harry Eden Keith II and Elva Smith Keith. Gene
was employed by Floyd County Schools for 45 years.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis
Fleming Keith; son, Michael David Keith & wife Sharon; daughters, Carol
Keith Poff & husband, Michael, Patricia Dale Keith Carter & husband
Johnnie; stepchildren, William Winston Whitsett, Linda Whitsett Vaughan &
husband Kevin, Glenn F. Whitsett & wife Valerie; grandchild, Eden Rivers
Keith; sister, Catherine Russell Keith Smith & husband C.W.
Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. ,
Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the St. Mark Lutheran Church with Pastor Jeff
Dalton officiating with interment in the
Willis Cemetery. Family will receive
friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Maberry Funeral
Home.
