Dale
Jerry Pugh, 69 of Floyd, went to be with his Lord and Savior after a courageous
battle with cancer on Saturday, June 20, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Jerry & Gladys
Reed Pugh; four precious grandchildren, Miranda Gray, Brendon & Brandon
Gray, and Devin Gray. He was a wonderful
dedicated, loving daddy and papa who worked as an electrical contractor for
43 years. Left to cherish his memory are
his daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy Gray (Duane), Kristie Turman (Gary), Penny
Bower (Jay); very special grandchildren, Morgan Nester, Daniel Nester, Logan
Gray, Aleigha Gray, Jacob Bower; brothers & sister-in-law, Freddie Pugh,
Larry Pugh (Phyllis), Michael Pugh; mother of his children, Lois G. Hubbard. The
family would like to express a special thanks to Erin Dejesus, Eddie Woods and
the staff of CNRV Medical Center.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren with Pastor Roy Turpin, Pastor Hebron Quesenberry, and Pastor Roy Bentley officiating with interment to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
