Calvin
Elwood Cox, 77, of Willis passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his home.
He was
preceded in death by his parents, Cicero and Gay Cox; two sets of twin brothers, Brady & Grady
Cox Shelba & Elba Cox; sisters, Hazel Scaggs, Josephine Scaggs & Izola
Moye.
He is
survived by his brother, Archie Cox and sisters Ovada Weeks and Agnes
Montgomery; special nephew, Dale Cox and
wife Mary, cousin, Bud Cox; and special friend, Leslie Fisher and caregivers,
John McDaniel, Mary Grooms, Nancy Wade. The family would like to express a
special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice.
Funeral
Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Maberry Funeral Home
Chapel with Pastor Dewayne Troutt and Pastor Roy Turpin officiating. The family
will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Irenia Mayberry
Cox Cemetery.
