Delores Burke Robinette


Delores Burke Robinette, 83 of Floyd, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014.

 

Delores was born in Kentucky June 2, 1931 to the late Isaac Sherman & Trula McCoy Burke. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Sue Robinette; two sons James Sherman Robinette and Dennis Ray Robinette; husband, Estill Robinette; granddaughter, Cassie Robinette and grandson, James Shannon Williamson



Left to cherish her memory are her children; Sandra Robinette Maynard of Hillsville, Teddy Robinette of Turkey Creek, KY, Connie Morgan of Ravenswood, WV, Pam Robinette Harrison of Stoneville, NC, Danny Robinette of Patrick Springs, VA, Dreama Robinette Dulaney of Bedford, VA, Dwayne Robinette of Ivanhoe, VA, Harvey “Sonny” Robinette of Floyd, VA and George “Eddie” Robinette of Floyd; 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; brothers, Leroy Burke Troutville, VA and Billy Burke of Calhoun Falls, SC; sisters, Goldene Francis of Riner, VA and Roberta Varney of Charlotte, NC.


Funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will follow in the Robinette Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
