Johnny
Ray Marshall, 47 of Willis, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014. He is
preceded in death by his father, John L. Marshall.
He is
survived by his mother, Mary R. Marshall of Willis; sister &
brother-in-law, Sandra & Timmy Phillips of Indian Valley; brother &
sister-in-law, William & Heather Marshall of Washington, D.C.; and nephews,
Brandon Phillips, Cole Marshall, and Chase Marshall; Randy Phillips whom he
loved like a nephew; and many special friends.
Funeral
service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the Maberry
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Walker officiating. Interment will follow
in the Big Sand Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on
Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the Floyd County Rescue Squad, Station 4, P.O. Box
257, Floyd, VA 24091.
