Timothy Winfred Quesenberry was born in Caretta, WV on March 7, 1953. In 1969 he graduated from Big Creek High School. He attended Concord College and Bluefield State. Timothy worked briefly in the social work field. He was a devoted son, loved brother, and beloved uncle. For most of his life he cared for his mother and they were each other’s best companions.
He was very creative and intelligent. He spent hours making afghans, many of which continue to be treasured by family. Timothy spent many hours practicing embroidery and sewing for many years. He loved to read and avidly consumed literature. Tim especially loved the Christmas holidays and enjoyed giving gifts. He had a tremendous sense of humor and he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and June Dalton Quesenberry; brothers, David Quesenberry and Terry Quesenberry.
He is survived by his brother, Larry Quesenberry; nieces, Tiffany Jones, Tonya Beckett, and Raegan Kotsko; and many cousins, great-nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July
5, 2026 in the Quesenberry Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Poston officiating. The
family will receive friends from Noon until 1 p.m. in the Maberry Funeral Home
Chapel prior to the service at the cemetery.
