Althea
Reed Weeks, 87 of Floyd, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 10, 2018. She was preceded by her husband George
Weeks, Jr.
She
is survived by her sons Randy (Lois) Weeks and David Weeks; granddaughter,
Megan Schumann (Michael); great grandsons, Porter & Dawson Schumann.
Funeral
service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2018 at Pleasant Valley
Church of the Brethren with Pastor Roy Turpin officiating with interment to
follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July
12, 2018 at Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren.
In
lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pleasant Valley Cemetery c/o Kevin
Mitchell, 4028 Alum Ride Rd NW, Floyd, VA 24091.
