She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles, three children, John (Susan) of Manchester, NJ, Denise (Timothy) Grant and Cheryl Limbach of Floyd, VA.  She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Brian, Joseph, Robert and Grace.  She is also survived by Joe and Wendy Amodeo of Dunellen, NJ and three brothers, George Martin of West Virginia, Paul Martin (Mary) of Lakewood, NJ and John of Toms River, NJ along with nieces, nephews and friends.

She started and established her own bookkeeping service in 1983, Kay’s Bookkeeping Service before retiring after over 30 years in the business. She enjoyed teaching ceramics, arts and crafts, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She loved traveling, especially with her grandchildren and looked forward to speaking with them, sharing secrets and the going on’s in their lives. She loved to brag about her grandchildren every chance she got. Most of all she enjoyed spending every day with her best friend and husband Charles.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to Project Linus, Mercer County NJ Chapter. At Project Linus, a non-profit organization, we provide homemade blankets to children in need. Our blankets are lovingly made by adults and children from all walks of life and many different sources. Our mother loved children and enjoyed watching and provided much encouragement while we created warm, beautiful blankets for children in need during her illness. Donations may also be made to  Foundation Fighting Blindness.
