Harold “Wayne” Moran, 79 of Rocky Mount, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, Merritt Benjamin “Mack” & Hettie Pate Moran; and brother, William “Bill” Moran.
He is survived by his son, Eric Moran; granddaughters, Kenzie Compton and Kara Moran; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Long; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, August
4, 2023, in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Richard Walters
officiating. Interment will follow in the Vest Cemetery with Military Rites by
the Army National Guard. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until noon
prior to the service at the funeral home.
