Lora Maxine Shearing, 80 of Floyd, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Claude Shearing; father, Lonnie Forren; grandparents, Alex Forren and Sally Knapp; and sisters, Janet Ayers and Margie Lilly.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Farley, Henry Farley, Joseph Farley, Johnny Farley, and Timothy Shearing; daughters, Bonnie Winter, Teresa Huff, Kathy Hopkins, Connie Goad, and Rose Shearing; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Mae Bolen; and special friend, Dottie Matthews.
Graveside services will be held at Noon on Monday, November 30, 2020 in the Laurel Branch Cemetery with Pastor Roy Bentley officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. - Noon prior to the graveside service.
