Charles
Francis Baur, 85 of Floyd, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018. He was preceded by his wife, Kay Baur on June
24, 2018, his parents, Florence and Frank Baur and sister, Marie Shearer.
He
served in the US Navy from 1952-1956, Newport, Rhode Island on USS Saipan. He
was a prior member of BPOE and River Road Rescue Squad in Piscataway, NJ. He was also a retired member of Plumbers
Union Local 24.
He is survived by his son John Baur (Sue); daughters, Denise Grant (Tim), Cheryl Limbach, Wendy Amodeo (Joe);grandchildren, Christopher Baur, Michael Baur, Brian Grant, Joseph Baur, Robert Grant, Grace Amodeo.

Catholic Mass and entombment will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 25, 2018 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1740 Tyler Rd., Christiansburg, VA 24073.
