Arva Conner
Coleman, 96 of Floyd, passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday, June 27,
2017. She was preceded in death by her
first husband and father of her children, George W. Conner and her son Edward
L. Conner.
She loved her
children dearly and was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, and friend. Her love of cooking was shared with her
family and friends.
She is
survived by her husband, Willie D. Coleman “Bill”; son & daughter –in- law,
Charles & Beulah Conner; daughter, Mary Joyce Conner; daughter-in-law,
Shirley B. Conner; grandchildren, Michael W. Conner, David Conner (Karen),
Travis Faw (Gwen), Tracy Faw, Danah Conner Meadows(Gene); numerous
great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; also numerous nieces and
nephews.
Funeral
service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 at Maberry Funeral
Home with Pastor Jeff Hudgins officiating with interment in the Jacksonville
Cemetery. Family will receive friends
from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Maberry Funeral Home.
